With the 2017 Research Awards, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey intends to support academic studies in the field of the Turkish economy, emerging market economies and/or central banking, and to make these studies accessible to a larger audience.

Eligible applicants for the awards include authors whose Ph.D. dissertations have been accepted by their respective dissertation committees and those who have written articles that have been accepted for publication in international peer-reviewed journals.
